One of the very few apartments you can find just in Duomo Square, not in a very narrow street of the district, but really in front of Brunelleschi's dome; you can admire it, nearly touch it from the private terrace of the apartment, where you can enjoy a wonderful view above the roofs of Florence as well as Giotto bell tower and Palazzo Vecchio tower.
The apartment has two double rooms one with queen size bed and one with twin beds, a sitting room with a two single sofa beds. A dining room with kitchen. 6/7 people in all.
The kitchen is well supplied with fridge, dishwasher, oven, coffee maker, toaster.
The apartment is at the second floor, being an ancient palace there is no elevator.
Directly from the cellars of the palace grows a hundreds years old vine, creeping up to the terrace, this ancient plant is often reported in many guides of Florence. The name of the apartment comes from this old vine, which is so old and particular that it is protected by the Monuments and Fine Arts Agency of Florence

Also the name of the little square where the house is located “Piazza delle Pallottole” a niche of Piazza del Duomo (usually not in the maps) has an ancient origin: in 1300/1400 years, people used to play an hand/foot ball game which was very popular, very probably in the circular building where now is a restaurant.
