This nice apartment is located on the first floor of an ancient palace between the Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) , in one of the most historical and famous parts of Florence. Piazza della Signoria, the most important square of the city, is around the corner.
The apartment has a large entrance with sitting room and kitchen, one double bedroom, one bathroom with shower. In the sitting room an easy sofa bed allows to sleep a third people.
The kitchen is well equipped with refrigerator, microwave, oven, and household appliances.
Via Lambertesca, is the prosecution of a little street: Via dei Geogofili which in 1993 was object of a criminal act of terrorism by the mafia in May.
In the night between the 26th and the 27th, a car bomb exploded, killing 5 people, among which a baby who was only 50 days old, and a 9 years old girl; 48 more people were seriously hurt. The Torre dei Pulci and the Palace of the Accademia dei Geogofili were seriously injured as well as many houses and apartments in the nearby; also some rooms of Uffizi Gallery were strongly damaged.
Of course after these facts the area is one of the most secure of Florence.
