The name of the first apartment comes from the ancient vine which grows out from the cellars of the palace, this is so old and particular that it is protected by the Monuments and Fine Arts Agency of Florence. The entrance to the apartment is through the balcony where the vine is climbing on. Bacchus, the Latin God of the wine will make your stay in Florence pleasant and merry.
Also the name of the little square where the house is located “Piazza delle Pallottole” a niche of Piazza del Duomo (usually not in the map) has an ancient origin: in 1300/1400 years, people used to play an hand/foot ball game which was very popular, very probably in the circular building where now is the restaurant.
